My interest in photography began mainly as a hobby, a way to document the places I've been, the people I've met and the lifestyles of snowboarding and mountain biking which have always been a big part of my life. After a few years of working in the mountain bike industry, various call centers and warehouses, I decided to take my photography more seriously and to go to uni.
My degree in inspired me to venture into different areas, and I began to take an interest in more genres of photography, such as Fashion, Documentary, and Exhibition Work. I have experience in location and studio work, and I work in both digital and film, depending on the project. For my personal work I favor the use of film as I find the lighting and depth in the image appear to be more natural.
If you have any questions or are interested in commissioning me for a project, then please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks
John
